Dance Theatre MD is the only professional dance theatre in the city of Tampere. Each year MD premieres between three and five works, including a show for children, and they also organise an annual contemporary dance festival, Tampere Dance Current.
Dance Theatre MD’s permanent staff consists of ten people. MD has its own performing space in the centre of Tampere. The new Hällä stage seats 220 people.
