Description |
Can the artwork ever stop imitating? The artwork settles to exist, to observe perfectly and imperfectly momentary, endless, ultimate moments. The composition probes the motions of the contemporary creature in space, the potential of an evolving, surreal and ambivalent mind to live an unknown dance. It plays, toys and stretches. An undefined something keeps appearing. Colour is allowed to fade, the pigment allowed to forget what it knows. In his latest performance choreographer Joona Halonen steps deeper into the world of embodiment. |
