Description |
After the knot is opened one first feels slightly lonely: that binding embrace is over. The events portrayed in the performance rise out of the need of the associative and experience-oriented mind to get as close to itself as possible. The choreographic process explores the spaces between the lines to release an echo that reveals more of the energy of the self. Travelling towards sense and senselessness, inside which I draw my first breath to hear my own heart beat. Choreographer, dancer Joona Halonen is known for his dark, minimalistic and poetic worlds where the stage is given to motion and the body. |
