| Description | Body's themes, as their name suggests, are physical and body-delving. Since childhood, my body wrapped around dance has given and taken a lot over the years. Being a woman, my body has also come under severe outside scrutiny. Every change in my body has inevitably affected the movements of my mind – and vice versa. Thanks to the strong union between body and mind, the connection between them cannot be ruled out. You can momentarily lose it, but it will never completely disappear. As a choreographer and dancer, the most important thing for me is my relationship with my own body." – Susanna Leinonen |
