Description |
TRAIL deals with themes such as equality and the richness of diversity. It brings together a variety of elements; choreographer Saarinen's distinctive movement language meets the unique talent and explosive energy of the Kenyan dancers. The soundscape extends from jazz to contemporary music and the visual design fuses tradition with the contemporary. |
Other Information | TRAIL was co-produced with the Nairobi-based art organization Ghetto Exposed. The project was part of Tero Saarinen Company’s development co-operation in Kenya, funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. |
