Description |
From routes untraveled is the choreography of Mikko Hyvönen. The pice is a romantic dream of something unknown and new, yet undiscovered. Paradoxically it also contains much borrowed, stolen and reinterpreted. The group works with simple movements and loops, transforming them into small dances that move from the stage to cities and back to the stage, making public places a part of the performance. The name of the piece has to do with leaving and traveling, leaving the theatre, studio an home and the will to move from one place to another to do something, seemingly without a destination or meaning. |
