Description | Labile Mobile is a work of abstract movement for four excellent female dancers. It is a continuation of Raatikainen’s earlier choreographies, although it has its own unique characteristics as a bright work that returns to the early origins of movement. Labile Mobile deals with interaction between the dancers and the changing atmosphere of the space around them: how an empty space turns into a commotion of events and activities. Simon Le Roux’s impressive set design plays a central role. |
Other Information | Labile Mobile is a co-production between Nomadi Productions, Zodiak - The Center for New Dance and Stoa the Cultural Centre of Eastern Helsinki. It has been supported financially by National Council for Dance, Finnish Cultural Fund, Jenny and Antti Wihuri Fund, The Arts Council of Finland and Veikkaus Oy. Partners with Art-Print Ltd. |
