Description |
Acrobatics for the Timid is a piece that handles with fear and timidity. The piece explore our fears, which may seem quite curious. The piece gives the audience a chance to reflect their own fears. At the same time it gives us a reason to smile - what are we afraid of and why? The artistic team collected thoughts of fears from various people and those thoughts were used as a source in these piece. The piece was also worked with the audience during the training period. |

In this production choreographer Jyrki Karttunen was the mentor of Maria Kananen. Acrobatics for the Timid is a co-production of Routa Association, Karttunen Kollektiv, Centre for Practice as Research in Theatre and Central Finland Regional Dance Center. |
