Down to earth flamenco rythms, free-flowing movement and poetry. Erika Alajärvi's Twenty deals with the confusion caused by change and how we react when our sense of security is shaken. In addition to the year 2020, twenty refers to a period of twenty years. It is the number of forecasts, the time window during which changes should be made to avoid various threats. It is a relative number, because in twenty years a child grows into an adult, a young adult becomes a middle-aged person, and a middle-aged person grows old. But in the life of a tree it is only a moment. Twenty is also the number of friendship, the number of years of mutual friendships in the work group. |
