Description |
"Imagine fools rising from the pain of continuous destruction in a pink room, a black room or a womb. On the milky way, in intestines, in flesh. Imagine a rapidly spinning cartwheel such that it is catapulting to the sky. Or a waterfall of potatoes which drums bedrock into sand. Imagine a Finnish folk goddess descending from heaven to sing love songs to a bum. Sodoma, Gomorra and Blanco - rising fools from the pain of continuous destruction - is a corporeal and musical performance where folklore and the sublime are combined. The starting point of the performance of dance artistes Terhi Hartikainen and Veera Snellman as well as actor-musician Miko Kivinen have been destruction and enjoyment as well as the story of Sodoma and Gomorra from the Old Testament. The team wants to give space to playing, enjoying and grotesque bodies, in place of efficient and intensive bodies. This performance is intended for adults." |
