"Contemporary dance work BOTANICUM - a futuristic vision is a fascinating audiovisual experience. The central elements of the work are the diversity of movement and physicality, absurd humor, composed music together with sound-, light- and videodesign. The current theme of BOTANICUM is the relationship between human and nature. The work turns our sight and our whole bodies towards plantae. The work BOTANICUM moves between the realities of a human and a plant, and it takes the audience to a mythical place - to a futuristic humanplants reality. The target audience of BOTANICUM are 13-17 years old and adults, because young people have been the strongest to speak for the prevention of climate change and for the future of human kind on our planet." |
