| Description |
Dancer Mari Laamanen got into a bad traffic accident in the summer of 2015. In addition to her serious injuries, she was unconscious for several weeks. For an artist whose body is an instrument and medium, such injuries could mean giving up and quitting. Tahto is a performance in which the finger is lifted upright after its first vibrations, eyes are opened, and the dancer walks away from bed using her own feet, as the power of volition is transformed into dance. |
