Description |
What happened when Peter Pan lost his shadow? He lost a part of himself. He chased his shadow feverishly along walls, while the shadow jeered at him and slipped further and further away, always one step ahead... Tinker Bell helped Peter sew the shadow back to himself – and Peter was again fit as a fiddle. "I want to learn to dance again, because art has gone in the way of dance. I have asked three choreographers whom I admire very much to help me: Anna Maria Häkkinen, Anna Mustonen and Anna Torkkel. Please, make me dance as you wish. Give me back Maija the dancer who lurks in the shadows. Give me a chance to fall in love again." – Maija Mustonen Anna is a simultaneously personal and collective, polyphonic, multi-voiced performance consisting of three solos. The collective work by four female dance artists approaches dance through the language of dance, on terms of dance. |
