Description | Choreographer Elina Pirinen and team perform on-stage autopsies to Dimitri Šostakovitš’ 7th symphony, known as the Leningrad-symphony. The performance is born, lives, and is destroyed through the extremely faithful and yet unfaithful relationship of choreographer, three dancers, a writer and a light designer to this enormous musical work. This dance piece which articulates with an ethos of personality the aspects of a human person and humanity fearlessly delves deep into the subjective and complex inner essence of the individual and thus an area fundamentally touching the fabric of society. |
