Description |
Heads You'll go, Tails I'll stay is a piece of dance theatre in which a dancer, an actor and a musician take on the challenges of a relationship between a woman and a man. In the middle of it all are the nagging loneliness, dreams and fears, realising your own boundaries and giving them up. It's a piece in which for the sake of love we are ready to throw each other to the wall or be held gently in a sweet embrace. Perhaps it’s all about love – the different actions and emotions surrounding it. The textual core is made of several Finnish poems that enhance the challenge. The poems are lyrics for songs, dialogue between the performers and an integral element in it’s own right. Heads You’ll go, Tails I’ll stay is Tsuumi Dance Theatre's long time member Hanna Korhonen's debut choreography for the Dance Theatre Tsuumi. |
