Description | "Canadian Poems is an imaginary journey to the cellular memory of man, to the long-forgotten past. The movements reflect images of the sea and its nautical creatures, especially the legendary Fidzi mermaid, who was captured by sailors in the 19th century. This work explores movement experiences and their non-verbal dimensions. The story of the mermaid - half human and half fish - mirrors the many facets of our contemporary lives. Canadian Poems is a dive into the essence of movement." (Source: programme) |
