Description | THE CLUMP is a group of people caught between everyday life, rehearsal and performance. The different characters have their own tragi-comic problems, both in their work and private life. Using layers and illogical situtations, their dreams and frustrations - fiction and reality - are brought to the stage via dance and theatre. Sometimes THE CLUMP is an abstract thing, sometimes it describes the mental state of a person, a relationship or a group. The piece was constructed using group improvisation, the dancer's own texts and set choreographic pharses. The music and soundscape were composed simultaniously and side by side with the movement. Some improvised texts are spoken during the performance. |
